Man is a pleasure seeker by nature, and he was designed to want to repeat the good ones. That's why we never stop looking for where good melodies and harmonies are - because it soaks our brain with serotonin.

And if you want a box full of them - sweet melodies and harmonies - get Dana Countryman's new album "Come Into My Studio" (Sterling Swan - 2020). There are 18 songs - including two hidden tracks - built on the art of pop jewelry, directly influenced by the sounds of the Brill Building to Sunshine Pop, passing by the Beatles, Beach Boys, Carpenters and Gilbert O'Sullivan.

And the list of musical stars who “went” to Dana’s studio and contributed to the album is impressive: Ronnie D’Addario, Kai Danzberg, Scott McPherson, Brian Gari, Probyn Gregory, Dee Long (Klaatu) and Scott Bennett (The Dotted Line) among others.

Many call Dana Countryman's sound "retro pop", but as it references a time before I was alive, I prefer to call it "timeless pop". It just brings you good feelings in any time or at any place that you are.
